

MEET WIL E. ADAMS
Wil E. Adams Jr. is known for his integrity, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Born in Dallas, raised in Oak Cliff, Wil has proudly called DeSoto, Texas home for over 20 years. An alumnus of Hillcrest High School, Wil was a Debate Team Member, Lead Drum Major and received numerous UIL State accolades as a Musician.
Wil pursued higher education at Texas A&M University College Station, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a focus on Social Psychology.
Deepening his understanding of situational leadership and cultural dynamics, Wil furthered his studies in Organizational Cultures at Amberton University.
As a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Wil developed a deeper understanding of collective conversations and shared sacrifice.
Wil is a lifelong musician and artist, having performed with industry greats like Roy Hargrove, Earl Harvin, Jeannette Brantley and Shai. His passion for the arts extends to his leadership as Vice President of the DeSoto Texas Cultural Arts Foundation, where he works to enrich the city’s creative landscape.
Currently working as an insurance professional specializing in compliance investigations, Wil has a proven track record of detecting waste, fraud, and abuse. Wil can ensure accountability on both large and small scales while bringing transparency and fiscal responsibility to our city as your Place 5 representative.
